Handmade ceramics for enjoying life’s simple pleasures….

Welcome to my studio!

Hi, I'm Allyson DeLaune, the ceramic artist behind Bonne Terre Pottery—my cozy studio nestled on 15 acres in the piney woods of East Texas.

My love for pottery began years ago when my mom invited me to join her in a pottery class. From that first touch of clay, I was hooked.

My style is calm, earthy, and rooted in neutral tones. I often incorporate elements from nature—like dried flowers, seed pods, and wild grasses—to add organic texture and a sense of connection to the outdoors.

Through each piece, I hope to share the quiet beauty and simplicity of the natural world with you.

At Bonne Terre, the quiet and still beauty of nature is celebrated. “Bonne Terre” means “good earth” in French. It’s not about a specific place, but about the natural clay and materials that come straight from the ground, transformed by hand into pottery that’s both useful and beautiful. Each piece I create is a reminder of the simple, honest connection between nature and daily life, crafted to bring a bit of warmth and authenticity to your home.
